Livy is a new application that combines conventional order placement methods with chat-based mobile app features, enabling users to find suppliers/vendors and place their orders easily and quickly.

Businesses that use Livy:
• Do not pay any commissions on the orders they receive.
• Can determine their own hours of operation on Livy.
• Can block any users/customers they want.
• Know the exact location of their customers.
• Can receive orders even when they are not in the workplace.
• Obtain order confirmation from the customer with the photo and video feature or offer other products.
• Can list their products and services with their prices in the app and enable customers to make a selection from the list. Orders placed in this manner are sent to the supplier/vendor via e-mail.

Livy is currently in the pilot testing phase. For now, only businesses located in the neighborhoods of Çekmeköy/Istanbul have access; from June 2017, users living in these areas will also be able to download and use the app.

Livy is not a profit partner, but rather a business partner for suppliers/vendors. Livy offers businesses the opportunity to acquire new customers while improving their relationships with and offering additional benefits to existing customers. Livy enables small enterprises to reach out to a broader customer base and save the time they lose when taking orders over the phone. Furthermore, the app helps improve perceived brand quality and brand prestige among customers, for whom technology is an indispensable part of their lives.

Livy users can:
• Contact the person in charge directly;
• Negotiate the price;
• Follow up easily when product or service delivery is delayed;
• Customize the order according to their needs;
• View the order by using the photo and video feature, request a change, and confirm the order;
• Make a selection from the supplier/vendor’s range of products and services, which are listed with prices;
• Rate suppliers/vendors or write a comment for other users to see.
• Suppliers/vendors cannot see the user’s telephone number.

Livy provides users with the opportunity to chat with suppliers/vendors and place their orders any way they wish. Users can quickly and easily find businesses registered with Livy, nearby or anywhere else; start a chat with suppliers/vendors that are open at the time; and place their orders. Livy eliminates all the inconveniences of placing an order over the phone (e.g. having to speak, failing to reach a customer service representative or occasionally needing to place an order during a conversation or a meeting). Users can place their orders anywhere they have with Internet access, with open businesses nearby or in other locations.
